Meeting this need enables them to gain the confidence to deal with the challenges they face as they grow up.

We want all the children in our care to develop a strong sense of empathy towards the world. We will help them grow into young adults who show care and concern for the world they live in.

Children will be praised for their efforts and achievements. We aim to help them see that they can achieve their best through determination and openness to new ideas.

Respect

Respect is one of the core beliefs of our practice. We aim to create a positive and nurturing environment for both children and staff through mutual respect, acceptance, and mindfulness. We welcome and value people from all backgrounds and encourage respect for each other.

Self-esteem

We aim to empower children in our care with a strong feeling of self-belief. Adopting this attitude will boost their self-esteem and help them realise their potential.

At Little Bears, we believe in cultivating an environment where children are free to make choices, learn at their own pace, and gain the confidence to build positive relationships with the people around them. Our aim is to build a nursery where children and their families feel welcome and appreciated.
 
At Little Bears, children have the opportunity to safely engage in daily activities such as visiting the village post office, village shop, church, and other local amenities as well as enjoying the beautiful woodlands and greenery around us. We aim to provide children with the opportunity to embrace nature, explore, and experiment.
 
Being outdoors allows children to assess risks safely, make choices, and use all their senses to learn about the world around them as well as adopting healthy lifestyle habits.
